Sketchbook, One Drawing a Day: Trees

Sketchbook, One Drawing a Day: Trees

Entourage elements (trees, bushes, people, etc) are usually added as one of the last steps in architectural illustration work. The focus of architectural illustration work is getting the architectural proportions correct and making sure the building is correct in accordance to the architects plans and specifications. For the next few weeks, I am focusing my sketchbook drawings on architectural entourage and building my library of assets. While dedicating time to honing my skills, I can build my asset library to help reduce project time and speed up the illustration workflow.

I’ve also switched gears a bit, I’m using Photoshop to do my daily sketches.
